Kape Umali Coffee Company is the pioneer in coffee distribution in the north since 1948, catering to small eateries, restaurants, hotels, resorts, offices and coffee shops; helping coffee business entrepreneurs who want to start up and operate a specialty coffee business. We work hard to ensure that our clients walk away with a comprehensive understanding of the coffee industry and the confidence to open their own successful coffee operations as well as helping professional baristas by upgrading their barista knowledge and skills.

Workshops are designed to give you the information and training needed to succeed in today’s highly competitive specialty coffee market and barista profession. Workshop sessions include lectures and demonstrations followed by hands-on practice. Our small workshop size insure a personalized experience led by coffee business professionals who have owned and operated successful retail coffee operations, coffee farms and roasters as well as professional baristas from Baguio and Manila.

Roasting, Brewing and Espresso lab features small home to large commercial and industrial equipments and products, an actual coffee bar setting located in different areas in Baguio City and in Metro Manila for “real-life” hands-on practice. Here they can gain the skills needed to develop their own menu for coffee shops or cafes and prepare not just espresso-based drinks, but also other brews, blender drinks, smoothies, traditional coffee brews and light food items for the future.

We also offer advanced training for coffee enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and baristas.
